Key Responsibilities

  • Provide personal care and daily living assistance.
  • Support clients with community access and social activities.
  • Assist with meal preparation, light housekeeping, and domestic tasks.
  • Administer or assist with medication (where qualified).
  • Provide companionship and emotional support.
  • Transport clients to appointments and community activities.
  • Maintain accurate client records and progress notes.
  • Follow individual care plans and organisational policies.
  • Promote client dignity, independence, and wellbeing.
  • Work collaboratively with families and healthcare professionals.

Skills & Requirements

  • Certificate III or IV in Individual Support, Disability, Aged Care, or a related qualification (preferred).
  • Previous experience in disability, aged care, or community support is desirable.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Compassionate, reliable, and client-focused approach.
  • Current First Aid and CPR Certificate (preferred).
  • Valid Driver’s Licence and reliable vehicle (preferred).
  • NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willingness to obtain).
  • Working With Children Check (where required).
  • Full Australian working rights.
